    1. Embrace Nature

Aquamarines, the vibrant hues of wildflowers, fresh buds berries, rich rose, and dandelion yellow. All of these have a timeless appeal. What do they have in common? The refreshing qualities of nature. For years people have been looking to nature for fashion inspiration in every season. Wear a skirt representing the colors of a magical sunset, match the changing leaves in fall, or follow the hues of your favorite flower.

    2. Express Your Mood

Are you feeling outgoing? Then wear a pop of color. Or are you feeling calm? Then wear something subtle. Subtle is simply a variation, it doesn't mean boring.

So mix it up. Just like the changing of styles throughout different decades, change your style to match your own changing moods.

    3. Be Playful

Have fun with extra touches: wide-brimmed hats, unique jewelry, flowing skirts, boyfriend t-shirts, colored pumps, etc. History has shown it’s okay to be a little different with sailor striped shirts, big sunglasses, boy-tied buns, and lace caftans. Feel comfortable to pull from iconic pieces to wear in your everyday style for a fun change.

    4. Celebrate Blue

For centuries, blue has been a very appealing color across the world.  Did you know that this preference for blue holds up over all groups, regardless of ancestry, age, or gender? There’s a reason navy is the keynote of professional business attire. There’s a reason blue jeans are sought-after and loved worldwide!

    5. Be Comfortable

Yes, if style needs one rule that’s hard and fast, it must be this: Be comfortable.

Uncomfortable styles are common by comfort always wins out in the end. So don’t feel the need to compromise in this area. Be as comfortable moving in your clothes as you are in your own skin. People notice if you’re constricted, hobbling, or trying to pull off a look that isn’t really you.  But remember, comfort doesn’t mean same-old! Experiment, dabble, and try new things but care first about what you think.

    6. Show Off Those Legs

Timeless beauty means embracing the beauty of the woman figure. Legs come in all shapes and sizes, and we care for them just as they are because they move us.  Comfort and joy in our own shape drove the popularity of leggings — which, are becoming timeless themselves in recent years. Leggings are a great modern twist to the timeless nylons we see throughout fashion history. They are the perfect blend of style and comfort. Dress them up or dress them down. Get creative and show off those legs!

    7. Layer

Paint your wardrobe with layered style, just like a work of art. A knockout pattern under a long sweatshirt turns an around-the-house look into something beautiful. On a cool day, revel in the aesthetic with a patterned skirt not quite touching the knees, solid leggings in a classic hue (such as navy or rust), and boots. Layer, and everything else just works: a long, sweeping cardigan, denim jackets, lace, etc. Layering works with accessories, too. Thin elegant necklaces, worn in varying lengths is a great layering look.

    8. Feminine and Masculine

The House of Dior made full dresses and skirts the stuff of dreams. Feminine,  perfectly fitting, colored dresses and skirts have a timeless appeal with lace, ruffles, and tool. Every girl likes to dress up in a pretty dress every once in a while. But we also embrace how Coco Chanel brought us trousers and ushered in the cardigan look we love so much today, and that will never go out of style. Then Katharine Hepburn liberated our mothers’ sense of fashion. And now, menswear is a natural part of our repertoire, for any occasion.

    9. Simplify

Sometimes it is fun and exciting to be playful and dress up your outfit, but there is also beauty in simplicity. You can almost never go wrong with a plain white shirt and blue jeans. Or a solid color modest dress with nude heels. Simple hair and makeup along with simple accessories are also a great way to mix up your style. Busy day running errands? Rock a messy bun with a sunglasses, jean jacket, black leggings, and sneakers.

    10. Be Yourself

We all have personal priorities, whether in our art, our work, our commitment to raise happy children, or something more. Fashion should not compete with your priorities. Use fashion in a way to express yourself freely but without imposing on your life. Find a way of doing style that makes you feel good and is compatible with the art of living. Celebrate your own take on style because we are all different. Don’t be afraid to be unique or wear something that seems ‘out of style’ because that’s really how fashion changes from year to year. Just be you!
